A direct replacement for the OEM Bosch fuel pressure regulators and damper on the Porsche Carrera 3.2 1983-1989.
Most of these regulators and dampers are original and now nearly 40 years old. They are prone to leaking or failure and can cause all sorts of running and tuning issues. They are easy to replace, albeit a little bit fiddly being at the front of the manifold for the 3.2.
To suit the lower operating fuel pressure of the 3.2 Motronic, we use an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. This simple and elegant design uses steel O-Ring boss sealing adapters to the manifold.

We offer this regulator in two versions. Version 1 is the standard adjustable regulator that can be used on all models referenced below. Version 2, is a fixed 3.8 bar regulator version. This can be used where the chip has been reprogrammed for higher fuel pressure or using aftermarket engine computer.

Fuel Pressure Regulator
Version 1: Standard OEM replacement pressure
- 1 x Fuel pressure regulator body
- 1 x 2.0 to 5.0 adjustable fuel pressure regulator instead of fixed regulator

Direct replacement for Porsche Carrera 3.2 '84-89 (2.5 Bar)
For the 2.5 Bar fuel pressure cars, this kit must use the adjustable fuel pressure regulator as Bosch does not produce a standard 2.5bar pressure regulator in this form. We can also provide fixed fuel pressure regulators.
Version 2: Fixed 3.8 Bar version
Same as version 2, but with Bosch fixed 3.8 bar regulator, common with normal EFI conversion pressures. Only suitable for cars with programmed chip or adjustable EFI for higher fuel pressures.
Additional Notes:
The adjustable fuel pressure regulator needs to be adjusted and set on the car after installation to ensure the operating conditions meet the factory specifications. A fuel pressure gauge and fittings to adapt to the factory fuel rails is required to be able to complete this procedure. The regulators are not shipped pre-set to the 2.5bar operating pressure.
The product comes fully assembled and ready to install.
Damper Vacuum Port. Adapt Motorsport dampers use a Bosch damper module. These modules do not use a vacuum reference port like the original installed units. The existing vacuum line can be plugged, or removed and capped. This does not affect the damping performance of the module.
