Shipping policy
General Shipping Terms
All goods that shipping has been paid for are shipped Carriage Paid To (CPT) Incoterms 2020. The risk of damage or loss to the goods is transferred from the seller to the buyer as soon as the goods have been delivered to the carrier. The seller is responsible only for arranging freight to the destination and export clearance and not for insuring the shipment of the goods during transport. The destination will be the delivery address as completed in the order form during checkout.
We do not include insurance on our standard shipments, and for many carriers, insurance is not included, or not possible to include. This usually results in shipments being uninsured or under insured, where the goods value far exceeds the included insurance value. This risk of loss is born entirely by the customer. Please contact us if you wish to insure the goods for the replacement value to ensure complete protection from loss or damage. Some carriers allow us to add additional insurance at additional cost.
For some shipments sent with Swisspost, a standard insured value of 500 CHF is included, this can not be increased. Please ask to confirm if your package has any included insurance. Not all shipments are sent with Swisspost, this depends on the destination and the delivery time selected.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage by the shipping company or any third party. This includes theft.
Should your goods not arrive, or are marked as delivered but you have not received your goods, you must advise us within 21 days of your order date that the goods are not received. You must contact also your the shipping agent in your local country and launch an investigation. Most insurances have time limits to lodge a claim, we cannot be held responsible for goods lost that are unclaimable on the shipping insurance because too much time has passed, and is outside the carriers time limits.
Dispatch: At Adapt Motorsport we are always working hard to get your products shipped as soon as possible, we aim to dispatch your goods within 1-3 business day of receiving your order or alternatively if you have a pre-order, your goods will be shipped within 1 day of receiving stock.
We are also able to provide UPS shipping options with optional additional insurance. Please contact us for a quotation.
Europe Domestic Shipping
Small, Medium and Large parcels are sent via Swiss post Zone 1 - Economy 2-6 business days with tracking and do not require signature on delivery. Please consider the security of your delivery address, we cannot be held liable for stolen goods.
*Please note - We DO NOT send to PO Boxes.
Please ensure all delivery details provided on your order are correct. We cannot be held responsible for orders sent to the wrong address.
Any parcels returned to sender will be re-shipped at the cost of the customer.
Third party delays in transit or parcels that are redirected to a local post office for collection are your responsibility.
Should you require any special delivery instructions, please specify this in the notes section at checkout.
You will receive an email confirming the dispatch of your order and tracking number once it has been shipped. Shipping charges within Australia
International shipping
Adapt Motorsport is based in Switzerland, we welcome international customers and are always happy to ship our products worldwide. Small, Medium and Large Parcels are sent via Swiss post Zone 2 - International Economy 9-12 business days with tracking.
Should our international customers require specific shipping carrier quotes, please contact teamrad@adaptmotorsport.com with item details and your address so we can provide you with a shipping quote. We have some automated pricing for international shipping at checkout. If these prices don't appear correct, please contact us, so we can do our best to provide competitive international shipping rates.
*Please note - we advise our international customers to check the import laws with their local customs authority. Where applicable you will be responsible for all import duties, fees and taxes upon delivery of your International order.
