Description
These adapters are used to adapt the 996 GT3 intake manifolds onto your classic aircooled 964/996 or G model with the later 3.6 engine. CNC machined our exacting tolerances and finish, and anodised black. Custom machined to match your port diameter, and tapered to fit the 49mm bore of the manifold.
Their short height maintains the overall height of the intake set, reducing the interference between the idle air control and the intake boot and the top of the engine bay insulation.
This design permits the use of the AMS fuel rails, and positions the injector over the same relief in the intake port for the original injector, ensuring proper atomisation of the injector spray into the intake port.
The adapters come with fuel rail posts, in standard form, these accept all Bosch EV1, 6, 14 long body injectors. The posts are marked for easy cutting to suit the mid and short length EV injectors. This gives ultimate flexibility for injector selection.
Additional length adapters for those wanting longer runners. Standard adapter height is 78mm, tall version is +35mm, 113mm total.
Now Available, upgrade to our single advanced fuel rail with built in fuel pressure regulator and damper, simplifies number of hoses and fittings required for fuel system installation. Listed price is an upgrade to the adapter and fuel rail kits. Only available in combination with an adapter kit, with fuel rails, not available separately, or with adapter only kits. Limited Number, Non Power Steering Versions
We have a limited batch of intake adapters that are suitable for cars without the hydraulic power steering pump, such as when installed in G model bodies, or using electric power steering. these versions are stated as "No PS" in the product selection. These will not fit 964/993 with power steering pumps installed.

Model Fitment
Standard 964 intake ports are 41.5mm, so order 42mm adapters
Standard 993 intake ports are 43.5mm, so order 44mm adapters
RS or non standard ports available such as 46mm.
Lead Time:
42mm (964) and 44mm (993) Units in Stock. Custom sizes or colours are typically a 5 week lead time. Can be made in 46mm diameters also.
